What's the deal with MA / New England Hip Hop music... Holla

(As posted on RDB)
....First off I'd like to salute cats that are doing their thing for the scene here in New England whole-heartedly...who's passionate about their grind...and not lettin' life's bull$ht slow them down.

I'm sure this question's been asked already, maybe I just gotta keep lookin'...
(Looking for honest thought-out-answers)

1. What do you think is really wrong with our scene here? (Hip Hop music to be direct)

2. Why aren't we seeing multiple new break out artists/groups reppin' MA and New England on the public side of things here strong, then outward?
(No disrespect to anyone as I feel alot of cats music here, and some of it is bananas...I'm saying well rounded...Good music, buzz worthy, entertaining, with the look and feel...etc.)

3. If you was the MOB BOSS of MA/New England Hip Hop music...(not some nice Mayor or President worrying about their image)...mob-boss meaning you could strong arm if necessary but with couth to get things accomplished... what would you do to better things here?...use a 5 year plan, whatever...

It's kinda bugged as I sit back and see alot of cats doing their thing, I just want to see that nuclear explosion here in New England. It could start from right here in MA. I don't want to sound limited, but with the colleges, our region, the money spent here, etc. New England is so ripe for the picking... I'm not an artist, producer, nothing... just a fan... I want to see my home make it happen. I know too many of y'all talented mutha-f'kaz... Let's get it.

Example of question 2.
R.S.O. had the music, videos, look, feel, uniform/look coordination, dance routines...they rehearsed...had street, city, and abroad buzz, etc.
Peep this video. As an artist or fan of Hip Hip, what do you feel after watching this?

Since I've been full blast with my deejaying I have seen music from a different perspective. As a fan of Boston music I have been moved the formula of simplicity. The concept of a hot hook I.e. Call and response , Party anthem like just to name a few matched with a hot verse and a moving beat. Artists that have inspired me to pursue this career choice are Edog And The Bulldogs, Posse NFX, Joint Ventures, Almighty RSO, T-Max, Insight, Akrobatik, Mr. Lif, Original Vibe Monsters, Skitzofreniks and more.

The buzzworthy note of good music is slowly returning back here. You got heads like Reks (who's style is related to the game, common & akrobatik), Bay Holla (who reminds me of a upcoming Mc Lyte and/or Rah Digga), Akrobatik (who to me is the pure defiintion of hip hop period, he has the look, the voice, the range to do a party to making songs with substance and meaning. To me he is one of Boston's fullest voices.)

The direction of this movement is growing rapidly. When I am spinning on the 617 Live Radio show the range of local songs I have received has been great (not perfect) but improving. To the artists reading this lets keep this forward moving and keep your eye ont the prize.
